     I was browsing Google and some social sites the other day and happened across some negative articles about online business and MLM’s. I have been thinking about them ever since and I decided to write an article or maybe two on this subject. I don’t want to write about the negative aspects of in-home business, but much more on the positive, because there is so much more positive. I want to honestly look at how to succeed in a home based online business.

     As I stated earlier, I feel this article is more about success in the work from home industry rather than failure. People who succeed, succeed because of specific actions and choices.  People who fail, also fail for specific actions and choices. People who seem to continually succeed have habits that they follow everyday, on a consistent basis. Likewise, people who seem to always fail have habits that they follow too.

     In this article let’s take a look at the habits of successful people as well as the habits of those who seem to fail. There is an old saying that many people like to quote. The sad thing is they quote and do not understand its true meaning. The quote goes something like this and I am sure that you have heard it too, ”The rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer.” This is a very true statement and it really is a good thing. To succeed in business or in life you need to understand why this is a good thing. The reason that the rich keep getting richer, is because they keep doing the things that got them rich in the first place! The same is true of the poor!  They keep doing the things that got them poor in the first place!

     The number one lesson of success is that your must have a willingness within you to change. It really is very simple; just change what you are doing to make money. There is an old saying; if you keep doing what you’ve always done you will always get what you already have. If doing what you have always done could have gotten you rich, you would already be rich. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. So be willing to change.

     The number two lesson of success is that you must take action! Making a decision to do something is the first step towards success. It amazes me how so many people will talk and talk about doing something different with their lives but never take the first step. Nothing will change in your life until you take action! Remember; if thinking the way you do could get you riches, you would already be rich! It all starts with your thoughts.

     The third lesson of success is to be consistent! Once you make the decision to change, and once you take that first step, keep going, be consistent! Most people never take the first step because they are afraid of failure. All success is built on failure. We learn from our mistakes and failures. The key is successful people never give up! If you learn anything, then learn this, never give up! Learn from your failures and keeping moving forward.

    The fourth lesson of success is to find a mentor and a proven system. In the online home based industry you can find both. When you truly find a mentor and a proven system, everything will be in place for you. Common business sense says to follow a proven system that has been proven to work. Why would you want to re-invent the wheel? The smart thing in life is to learn from someone else’s mistakes.

     Success in an online home based business is a reality. And it is happening for many people who have made the decision to change their lives and who get up each day and work towards that goal. Find a system that is proven and be consistent with it each and every day. That’s what we did and it is working for us. I know it will work for you too if you just follow these steps!

My Ultra International Business Opportunity

I like finding unexpected business opportunities in places that I would least expect it.  And so when I found my favorite find, the Ultra International business opportunity it really was an opportunity.  One that I wasn’t really looking for, I must say.  While I didn’t really stumble on it, I kind of did.  Anyway, while I often find myself looking for outstanding opportunities, this just wasn’t one of them.

Ok so how did I get started with the Ultra International business opportunity?  Well it’s kind of funny actually.  I happen to be a research hound when it comes down to the internet.  I research every possible business opportunity that I may find.  Even those that I see in passing or the ones that people kind of throw at me.  I happened to be researching another company that was something like Amway, but not quite.  I decided to Google all companies that offered green or environment friendly products.  Several companies came up and I began to do my research.

Well I happened to be chatting with an internet marketing friend at the same time and when he asked what I was doing I told him.  Well he started making fun of the fact that I’m always researching home-based business opportunities, every time we talk.  Hey, it’s my pet peeve, and new home business that comes out, I research them, analyze them from the products, management, pay plan, marketing systems and I then write about them on my blogs. So we are joking around and he throws out Ultra International.  He said to me that his wife happened to be looking for some environmental safe products and found this company.  He said knowing how much I like all the earth friendly stuff; he thought I might like the products for myself.  Oh yeah and by the way the company offers you the opportunity to work for them.

Well I immediately went to do my research online right away.  I told him jokingly, he had better be right about the company or he’s going to have to front me the money for the product.  So I’m looking around at the business opportunities that Ultra has available and I’m dumbfounded.  Unlike all the other companies that I found, I didn’t HAVE to purchase any product if I didn’t want to use them.  So guess what I did.  I purchased the product.  Once I used them, I was hooked and well I’ve been hooked every since and I joined their company as a distributor. And that was last year and I’m happy he brought it up!

So what did I do? I bought my friend and his wife an entire case of the product to say thank you for turning me onto the Ultra International business opportunity that changed my life. Make money from a home business

It’s coming down to the holidays.  It’s this time of year where you want to make a little extra money so you don’t have to worry about touching your savings or the credit cards.  You have thought about a second job, but you want to be home with the kids after work and spend quality time with your spouse.   And besides that you’re tired enough from your 10 hour job.  So you think to yourself, I need to find a way to make money from a home business.  Some thing that isn’t going to require too much of my time in the afternoons or on the weekends, but will still bring a decent amount of extra money.

So what are your options?  How do you go about securing a home business without taking time away from your family?  Well in the beginning, you will find that you are searching to find the right home business for yourself.  You aren’t going to take whatever you come across.  You need to find ideas for a home business that are going to one, be something you can do comfortably without a whole lot of extensive training and two is going to provide the flexibility that you are looking for.

Now you can do this alone and start up a home business or you can join up with a company that offers you the ability to make money from a home business working with them.  Sometimes you can sign on with these companies for free, other times you may be requested to provide a small investment into the company and the product.  If you go this route make sure you believe in the product you are selling.  It will make a difference in how well your business does.

You are going to want something that takes minimal maintenance.  When you join up with a company, they tend to do all the hard work long before you come aboard.  They will take care of things like marketing, target market, updating software, getting new software along with company and product updates.  Generally this is the reason for the initial investment.  It covers all the things that would be overhead for you as a private business owner.

There are so many other points that I could share and more ideas for a home business but we’d be here a very long time.  Whichever way you decide to make money from a home business, remember to be thoughtful and patient in your decisions.  Don’t rush into any thing; take your time to make good decisions.  This will only stand to help you in the long run.
