As a professional it is your job to prospect and build up others once you have become a successful and stable business with an adequate consumer base. Always remember though that as a sponsor you are also a mentor, and MLM mentors need to retain specific elements to be successful. The first of those features is respect.
MLM Mentors have a mission to firstly respect themselves and then to respect others. To respect yourself you have to do several things; you have to be honest with yourself, you must have integrity, and you must be a winner.
Being honest with yourself is vital because no matter how much you justify ideas of why, some part of you will always know when you are lying to yourself. This destroys the high self image required to achieve stunning things. If you messed up, made a mistake, or hurt someone just own up to it, apologize and move on. Similarly always remember to be honest with yourself by appreciating the smallest of achievements you accomplish. If you step a little outside your comfort zone, take an action step toward a goal, or just made time to do something you love, acknowledge yourself.
The next step for MLM mentors is to take the leap of integrity. While this involves being honest with yourself, it goes beyond that and here is how. While being honest with your self is coming clean to yourself what you already know to be true, integrity is about following through, making your word your bond, and doing what you know needs to be done. A person of integrity is unbroken throughout, they are authentic, honest, and EARNING respect. Respect is never given with a title, position, or experience, it’s earned by having integrity every single day.
To cut a long story short you must be a results producer because if you are not you may end up just being honest about the fact you have yet to accomplish anything!
You can have integrity and not accomplish a single thing.
Being a leader is about dreaming big dreams and using the two previous steps to pursue those dreams. There is much more to being a champion, but one thing is for certain, leaders are respected.
