Recruiting new people is the life blood of your MLM business. Recruiting may seem difficult at first but with the proper mindset, training and effort you can soon become one of the top recruiters in your company and be well on your way to creating a 6-figure income.

Keep the following tips in mind as you undergo your MLM recruiting activities.

1. Be consistent and do recruiting activities every day.

Continuous, steady action is the best way to become the top recruiter in your company. Do something everyday that is recruiting related. Send 5 emails. Make 10 phone calls. Place 2 ads. Have a recruiting plan and stick with it. You’ll find your downline growing and your bank account filling up in no time.

2. Be a leader.

Be confident and self-assured whenever you are interacting with prospects. People are looking for help. They need a leader. Someone who can show them how to achieve the success they are craving.

3. Listen with open ears and a closed mouth.

People don’t want to know all about you or your company. They want to be heard and understood. Listen attentively. Ask questions that engage your prospects. Let them sell themselves on joining your company. Sometimes all it takes is attentive listening and an open heart to get someone to join your business.

4. Use the prospects name.

Everyone loves to hear the sound of their name. In addition, it will refocus their attention. But don’t overdo it. Use the person’s name about 3 times during a conversation. This applies to emails as well.

5. Believe in yourself.

If you don’t believe in yourself you will never be successful. If you are attracted to the network marketing arena you have within you all it will take to be successful. Get professional training for your weak areas. Surround yourself with positive people. Tell yourself the story of your success every day. As your self-belief increases people will be automatically attracted to you.

6. Help people paint a vision of their ideal life.

People aren’t looking to join a business opportunity. Or sell vitamins. Or sign people up with an auto-ship. They want financial freedom. They want time home with their family. Ask questions to help people connect with their dreams. Be supportive and let them know you can help make their dream a reality.

7. Engage people’s emotions.

Emotions are the fuel that drive us. Help people get excited. Help them tap into their passions. Feel good yourself. The better you feel, the more people will be attracted to you.

8. Identify your ideal business partner.

Invest the time to write down the qualities of your ideal business partner. What are they like? What do they enjoy doing. Don’t waste your time with the tire-kickers. You have an important mission and don’t let negative, time wasters keep you from it.

9. Never chase a prospect.

You MUST develop a leadership mentality. You have what the prospect is looking for even if they don’t know it yet. People do not follow companies, products or compensation plans. They follow self-confident leaders.

10. Make recruiting enjoyable.

Do whatever you can to make recruiting a fun activity. Be creative. Only do activities that you love. It is a world full of possibilities. You will be able to find a recruiting activity that you love and excel in.

Recruiting is easy once you have the proper skills and mindset. Have fun with it all. The more fun you have the more results you will enjoy.

I personally have sponsored over 70 people into my Network Marketing opportunities. How have I done it? What magic words come out of my mouth to make people sign on the dotted line? What if I told you that I am sincere, kind, and honesty is my real secret to the business of MLM Recruiting.

Network Marketing, and the business of bringing people into your opportunity, can feel like a riddle trapped inside an enigma. I know! I have been in and around the industry for the last decade, and I have seen many people come and go without figuring out the first secret in the game of MLM: how to sponsor people into your company. How maddening to love this opportunity and not have the results to show for it! So the first thing we want to do is get you some teammates. Take out a pen and piece of paper and let’s get to work.

What are 5 compelling reasons why someone should join your business? Write them down. C’mon, really, write them down. It will help you.

Why is your opportunity of MLM and health/wealth/personal growth better than any other business out there? You have to know this and believe this in your heart. When I am talking to people, I honestly feel like I’m giving them the gift of a lifetime.

What deep-seated reason do you have that will carry you across all of the rejection you might face? When I decided to make the UCLA Basketball Team as a walk-on, my chances were 1:15,000. I didn’t care. My father had just passed away, making the team was a way for me to stay close to home and still play competitive basketball, and I put the possibility of failure out of my head and went to work.

You are the key to your Network Marketing venture. Important questions to consider: Do people want to partner with you? Are you trustworthy? Can you teach them? And, most importantly, will you be able to lead them to personal and professional success?

Why? Because it lets your new prospect know they don’t have to do it by themselves. They literally see you not building it by yourself. You might be a great salesman, you might have the gift of gab, the silver tongue, etc. But that won’t replicate. I should know. I brought in 23 people in my first four months and then we all just sat there…well, not exactly. My group built to 165 members but it wasn’t until I found a millionaire mentor that my group really started going. I needed to join a new opportunity to find my mentor, charismatic and dynamic Tony Kent, but that is a story for a different day…

There’s one last secret I’d like to leave you with. Sooner or later, you or your people are going to run out of friends and family. When that happens, you can turn to buying leads for MLM recruiting, which we do, but the internet has created a golden opportunity for people wanting to excel in MLM.

You’ve just signed up with your new company and you’re excited. Jumping up and down, hugging the neighbor’s dog excited. Your dreams of retiring in the next two years and moving to a tropical island are finally doable with all of the riches you’ll soon be making in your network marketing company.

All you need to do is recruit 5 people who see the same vision you do.

Yes sir, Uncle Bob is soon going to be eating his words about calling you a deadbeat!

You’re eager to begin recruiting new business builders into your company because you know this is the fast-track to success. You schedule a meeting with the most successful up-line distributor in your company because you want to model the best.
